I moved to the Northwest about 2 years ago from Southern California, and I used work as a Telecom Fi
eld Service Engineer, however I am currently unemployed, more or less I'm a geek, your traditional computer loving, technology collecting, geek, I love the promise that technology still holds for us as a society, in a sense I still see the future thru the vision of the early 60's, a bright, happy place, where technology can solve the problems of humanity.
However I don't live on technology alone, I love good conversation and debate, food, and friends, I also love to travel, which is hard for me to do on my current income.
In a previous life, I was a Truck Driver, Security Guard, Phone System installer, Theme Park Cast Member, and Food Service Worker of all kinds, I consider myself a jack of all trades, capable of any task, including project management.
In my spare time, I plan 'Furry' Conventions, and currently work at the Hotel Liason for a convention in Sea-Tac, I also collect Telephones, and find most everything about Telecom interesting, I pride myself on knowing a little bit about everything, and I'm a Ham Radio operator.
I recently quit smoking, I don't really drink, though I do like a nice glass of scotch or port in the evening from time to time, and am otherwise clean.
