Gentle Bear looking for ... Basically looking for a romantic, masculine guy who is looking for something meaningful. I`m a down-to-earth, gentle, easy-going guy with a wide range of interests and lots of hobbies. I`m a semi-retired librarian who spends most of his time writing. I also enjoy cooking, canning, gardening, languages & other cultures, reading, movies, etc. OK, so I`m a bit of a nerd! I do believe that if you have a good friend, what you do is less important than who you`re with. I`m a romantic at heart (that does NOT mean I can`t be adventurous), but I also make sure to keep a level head. I can be a dreamer but I also like to make dreams come true. I enjoy the simple life the most even though I have found myself in a wide range of environments. While I have a very wide range of tastes even when it comes to men, when it comes to becoming emotionally involved I usually gravitate toward younger and masculine men. I would very much like to find someone for a stable long-term and exclusive relationship. When it comes to friends, just having some common interests is usually enough to start the ball rolling. When it comes to something more, though, then common values are also important. Even if the "chemistry" doesn`t click, I`m also very much looking for friends in the area.
