Save a horse, Ride a Cowboy Howdy Boys, Men, and everybody in between! Hmm, did I just say "howdy"? Probably-and it has more to do with KIZN 92.3 than anything. Now, I am not saying that simply listening to this station makes anybody country-any more than walking into Dillard`s makes you classy-but simply put-I am a "born again" country music listener. I absolutely love just about all the Artist`s they feature, and well, the songs speak for themselves! My most favorite Artist: Gretchen Wilson-love her "all jacked up song" but also relate to her "Redneck Woman" song! No, I don`t have any children that I am carrying around on my hip-and as far as I know, I still don`t live in a trailer--yet! So what is the point of all of this??? I would have to say that it all started about 4 months ago when I had borrowed my friend`s big dodge pickup! Hell, it only seemed right to listen to country music while driving on the back roads! It seems that I may have went a little too far however, and started listening to it while driving around the big city too! The double takes were not few and far between, damn folks stared at me every chance they got! It could have been the fact that my hair was styled into a faux hawk, and I was wearing a pink abercrombie oxford and AF sandals with baggy jeans. Oh yeah, the best part was my D&G White Sunglasses! Are you lauging yet??? Anyways-the more I listened to the music, the more it penetrated my soul-and I started doing some searching--as in: "What do I want out of life, and what kind of person do I want to spend my life with???" Huge questions I know, but dammit-things got simplified for me because of this. You know, all I really want is a COWBOY! What??? Did I just say, redneck, wrangler wearin, huge belt buckle, cowboy boots, flannel shirts, and tight little rodeo ass? You better believe I did-and how! You see, many years ago I lived in Nevada-and while I was not the cowboy type-I was able to observe many of their qualities and characteristics (that up to now I have overlooked), that define what it is I really want. I don`t want somebody I have to impress-except with my only desire to make them happy with whatever we might be doing! When I say cowboy-I mean he probably likes to camp, fish, ride horses, listen to country music, go to a country bar-pick fights (okay just kidding), and basically live anywhere, in just about anything-his only goal in life is to make sure that I am happy! My only goal in life-make sure he`s happy too! Okay, so that about sums it up I suppose-so, if you happen to be a fun loving, down to earth cowboy who lives on a ranch, a farm, or even a double trailer-you should think about contacting me-you may be getting the chance of a lifetime here!
