Transplanted Midwesterner currently living out East. (The job thing, you know.) Still have ties and family back there...hoping to move back sometime. Right now, though, I guess I can deal with the big city/East Coast life. Trying to take advantage of all of the opportunities while retaining as much of the simpler, Midwestern lifestyle and values as I can. I As for my interests well, simply put, they're all over the map! Outside of my science-oriented job, you can usually find me doing a whole wide range of things for fun. I can be as comfortable catching fast food and a beer as I am over a gourmet dinner complete with a bottle of good wine. You also might find me at a hockey game--if I'm not at the horseraces or the rodeo. And, you're just about equally likely to find me at the symphony as you are at a Montgomery Gentry concert or a C/W dance club. I guess I generally tend to get along best with people who are just a bit younger than me (most people also tend to say that I don't look like I've been around as long as the calendar says, either :) But, for me, personality, sincerity, and depth of character always win out over looks and age. Looking for people to chat with, friends, and just maybe that special someone. I've always thought that it's pointless trying to start out looking for a relationship.
