Looking for quality, not quantity Former Navy radioman, interested in meeting someone to hang out with, maybe date and see where it goes. Well-traveled; have lived in several different countries for extended periods. I have friends from all over. I don't judge people on skin color, ethnic background, religion, income, education, or other arbitrary categories. I do judge them on their behaviour toward me and toward others. I don't have time to waste on rude, disrespectful people. No one is perfect -- least of all me -- but you have to work at being a decent person, and be willing to admit when you're wrong and apologize for it. Generally attracted to masculine guys who are fit, comfortable in their own skins, capable of expressing their feelings without hurting others, and able to carry on a conversation about something besides sex & the gym. It's especially nice to meet guys who understand the pleasure of sometimes just being quiet together. I don't have a particular 'type' (other than reasonably fit, and relatively height/weight proportionate) but do tend to look first at African, Arab, Hispanic, Polynesian or Asian guys, as well as dark-haired Caucasians. Not that I have anything against blonds and redheads! Sex isn't high my list these days; good company is more important to me. I like 'making out' -- kissing is a huge deal with me -- and holding/being held. I respect others' limits; 'no' means 'no.' I think I'm in decent shape for my age, and if my waist isn't 29 inches any more, well, I'm not 29 years old any more, either. 160 pounds and a 32-inch waist on a 68 frame isn't bad. I like men, not pretty-boys. Furry or smooth works for me, whatever is natural to the man wearing it, but body stubble ain't sexy! Much prefer the smell of clean (or freshly sweaty) skin to perfume/cologne, and not just because I'm allergic to most colognes. Physical appearance may be what attracts us at first; personality will make or break the connection. Keirsey temperament: Guardian; Meyers-Briggs Type ISTJ/ISFJ (take these with a grain of salt; I do). I don't have age requirements, but usually -- but not always -- find myself most comfortable with guys between 35 and 60. More important is the level of maturity, which isn't dependent on age. I share my quarters with 3 cats that follow me around like puppies. I read a lot, mainly SF, but also mystery, military, spy, and other genres. I do enjoy good movies and TV shows, but not as much as I like books. I cut the cable and switched to streaming sources online (NetFlix, Hulu, and Amazon) when I don't want to watch something from my own DVD/BluRay collection. Tattoos: I have a lot of ink. Chest, shoulders, traps, halfway down the biceps on both arms, and from the waist to just above the knees on both legs. None of it shows when I'm dressed for work
