Why am I on the internet? to make friends and share thoughts with people and correspond with other g ay guys that don`t dwell on small talk. In March 1998 I made the trip back east to see Walden Pond and spend a weekend at the Thoreau Institute. It sparked a series of changes in my life which make me who I am today. I returned from that trip and finally divorced myself mostly from my family of origin. I started making plans with my partner to move from the big city (Seattle) and settle somewhere closer to nature and more relaxing. In November 1999, we moved to Boise. Boise is a small town of just over 120,000 people nestled in the foothills of the Sawtooth Mountains in SW Idaho. We live two blocks from the Boise river and are thirty minutes from picturesque pine forests and land that will remain untouched for years to-e. My partner Jon and I have been together almost six years now. However, like many long term gay relationships we have discovered that the hetero-standard for monagamy doesnt necessarily work for us. So, if it feels right for all of us, we occasionally will spend a night with a 3rd or one of us will play alone.
